Routt County Highway Clean Up Day

Volunteer to help others clean up the highways leading into and out of Steamboat Springs.  The winter has covered up lots of trash for the past several months, but, now that the snow has melted, it is time to clean up our countryside.  Come down to the courthouse lawn between 8:00 - 8:30 to be assigned a one mile stretch of highway.  Come as a group or join a team.  We will be cleaning from about 8:30 to noon.  Following the cleanup, there will be a BBQ for all participants at Howelsen Beach over at Howelsen Hill Park.  Prizes will be given to the winning ticket holders.  For more information, contact Heather at 970-879-0185.
